LeftTurn Elves Join United Way’s Holiday Helping Hand Workshop

December 9, 2025

There’s something special about stepping out of routine and into a warehouse buzzing with purpose. This December, the full LeftTurn crew took part in the United Way Halton & Hamilton Holiday Helping Hand Program. Each year, the Community Donation Warehouse morphs into the Holiday Helping Hand workshop, stocked with donations ranging from food and home essentials to toys, tech, and everything in between.

Their mission: Turn community generosity into organized care packages that bring comfort, dignity and hope to families across Halton and Hamilton.

What We Actually Did

We unpacked. We sorted. We labeled. We organized.
Then we did it all again.

Picture the whole LeftTurn team moving in sync, Christmas tunes on rotation, matching items with labels in a way that scratched the collective itch for order and clarity. It was oddly meditative. A chance to turn our brains off in the best way and focus on one simple, satisfying goal.

We’re used to collaborating at desks, in documents and across strategy sessions. This time, collaboration looked like a well-oiled human assembly line, laughing, chatting and stacking joy into bins. And honestly, we loved it.

Why We Participate

Because people drive everything we do.
Because relationships matter more than investment.
Because community isn’t a marketing angle. It’s the point.

Volunteering gives us the chance to show up for the same communities that shape and support us. The Holiday Packages Program brings comfort, dignity and a little magic to families who deserve both. If our time can help make that process smoother, we’re there.

The LeftTurn POV

We’re driven by different.
We think big and act small.
We believe excellence doesn’t need theatrics.

So yes, we’re an agency. But we’re also a team that loves rolling up our sleeves, stepping into new environments and working side by side to make something good happen. This is the kind of “acting small” that fuels our bigger vision. It reconnects us to our purpose and tightens the bonds that make us who we are.

What We Took Home

A reset.
A reminder.
A reason to keep showing up.

We left the warehouse with full hearts, quiet minds and a renewed sense of what community really looks like in action. It felt festive. It felt meaningful. And it felt like LeftTurn at its best.

Here’s to more connection, more cheer and more chances to channel the holiday spirit into something that matters.
